READY, SET, GO, 2.1

Well, we are at it again with 2.1! I guess I'm ready eventhough I'm not much of a blogger. I took a little peek through the course and so far I think I'm in. Although, the Blogging Song was stuck in my head all day. I did like the video BLOGS IN PLAIN ENGLISH, it was a cute explanation of how blogging works, from one blog to another to linking and commenting. I guess Blogging took over the pen and paper days! Okay, I'm ready, let the blogging begin again!

DIGITAL MEDIA

PODCASTING, how great is that! I just love the idea to be able to download an audio book. LIBVIBE, is really neat reading library news around the world. I will definitely make use of downloading books and music, and all the digital media possible to my new mp3.This was an amazing journey to a new beginning!

MUSIC WAVES

What about all those copyright laws? It was amazing to know that playing a particular song on a personal video or presentation can cause a problem. Well,hopefully everyone can read about copyrighting before searching for that certain song to record! LIVEPLASMA, really cool what a better way to listen to music. Another one of my favorites is PANDORA, check it out!

DOGGIE WORLD

Exploring FUN is great! I just became a huge fan of Dogster, especially for my chihuahua Lola. Reading the Doggie Diaries was hillarious. My Lola will definitely have her own writing page. This is a very cool site with plenty of pet information, as well as viewing cute photos, and funny videos.

Ah, the amazing digital world of Flickr. It's so cool that I can organize my photos and share these images with family and friends. I will definitely make good use from Flickr!

COOL TOOLS!

Wow,Social Networking how amazing is that! Library lovers are in for a fun ride! For starters, http://www.propsmart.com/ is a fantastic mashup it gives a wide range of listings from pricing,location, and detailed descriptions of specific properties. I just can't get over the satellite view from space, zoom in or zoom out, really cool! Wikimapia rocks, I visited my hometown and got a nice view of my neighborhood and it's history.Now for MotorMapUSA, I searched for my vehicle type and was very impressed how much information was given,from pictures of engine to interior and even place a bid on the vehicle.Overall, I was amazed on all the detailed information through these mashup applications. Thank goodness for technology!

VIDEO EXPRESS

OCLS on MySpace, well what else can I say! I guess Lola Belle could have her own space too. I was really excited to see my dancing disco moves shown on YouTube. I'm sure my family and friends will get a kick out of watching that. YouTube rocks, I found plenty of hillarious videos of chihuahua dogs, Lola was also impressed. Well, as for SEOmoz, I found a lot of neat stuff. I already use Pandora but I like LastFM cause you don't need to set up an account. I played the deluxe version of Pacman on Arcaplay, who would have ever thought of Pacman being deluxe. I also checked out Farecast, really impressive pricing for travel. Well, for YouTube people check out funny dog videos!!!
